ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu – Trang An complex

In the morning, you depart from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, located in the Red River delta is a network of waterways coupled with spectacular limestone formations rising up from rice paddy fields. Spend an hour visiting the Dinh and Le temples of the Ancient Capital Hoa Lu which are dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, the founders of the ancient capital during the 10th century.

Transfer to your hotel for checking in, take rest and have lunch at restaurant with local specialties.

Afternoon, continue to visit Trang An Scenic Landscape complex nearby which recently recognized as an UNESCO World natural heritage, then get on a rowing boat (small sampan) and travel along the small river with scenic mountains and green paddy fields . Boat takes you to witness cave complex of Trang An: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, the scenery of mountain and rivers – Halong on land of Ninh Binh.

Have dinner at restaurant and overnight at hotel in Ninh Binh.

Day 2: Mua Cave – Van Long Floating Village – Hanoi

After breakfast, check out your hotel and traveling to Hang Mua, you will be engaged in a wonderful landscape of mountain, valley and river. We first climb up hundreds of steps to lead to a temple on top of a hill, the spectacular views from Hang Mua over Tam Coc and Ninh Binh’s stunning countryside are well worth the effort.

Continue to Van Long floating village (wetland) then take a boat trip rowing along this beautiful wetland of Van Long Natural Reserve, enjoying spectacular scenery surrounded by rice paddies and towering limestone mountain peaks. After the boat ride, hop on a bike to discover the countryside of Van Long floating village.

Have lunch at local restaurant before driving back to Hanoi late in the afternoon. Finish at your hotel.
